At the southern gateway to YZD, Wilson Landing will be a destination in its own right, bringing together new homes, jobs, parks, and community spaces in one of the site's most connected neighbourhoods. With direct access to TTC Wilson Station, it will be a place where people come together to live, work, gather, and explore.
The civic heart of Wilson Landing. The Arc follows the initial segment of the reimagined Runway and its extension, forming a highly legible, pedestrian-focused cultural corridor that connects directly to Wilson Station – and creates a strong, memorable sense of arrival into YZD.
Where Wilson Landing meets YZD's defining feature. The reimagined Runway begins here, marking the southern terminus of the former airstrip and the starting point of a two-kilometre pedestrian spine that will one day connect all of YZD's neighbourhoods.
At 1.2 hectares, the Major Park is the District's largest green anchor – a flexible, four-season open space designed for gathering, play, and everyday life, woven into the fabric of the neighbourhood and connected to the Green Spine and surrounding public realm.
A welcoming open space at the edge of the District, the Trailhead serves as a point of entry into YZD's broader network of parks, greenways, and public spaces – signalling the beginning of something larger for everyone who arrives here.
One of the District's two feature streets, Street A is designed as a pedestrian-first corridor – tree-lined, cycling-friendly, and animated by the uses that frame it, creating a comfortable and connected route through the heart of Wilson Landing.
The second of the District's feature streets, Street C provides a key east-west connection through the community, linking neighbourhoods, open spaces, and transit with a streetscape designed for people of all ages and abilities.
Wilson Landing is the second neighbourhood in development at YZD – envisioned as a walkable, transit-connected community shaped by the Downsview Secondary Plan and YZD's guiding vision.

A draft plan was submitted to the City of Toronto in early 2026, and community input will play an important role in shaping the future of this emerging neighbourhood. Your input is key to shaping an inclusive, sustainable future for the Wilson Landing.
In the meantime, YZD continues to bring the site to life through early programming - including pop-up events, public art and cultural experiences that offer a glimpse of what the future of the site could become.
